The ONE THING conference in Kansas City was four solid days of just that - 40,000 people all connecting with God in song and dance. (see One Thing Quick Notes) At times God's presence was so strong you could feel it. And while we might not be able to recreate that situation, it is surprising how three CDs of ONE THING Worship songs seem like three heavy duty weapons that we can pull out any time we start losing our focus or feel oppressed or condemned.

These are not like worship music CDs you buy in the store, these are more personal, impromptu, as led by the Holy Spirit. The sound quality is not studio quality, there were errors on the original tapes as well as errors created digitizing them and the voices are not always in key, but those things pale when compared to the quality of Worship captured on the CDs - that you can join in with.

And they have given clear and specific permission for anyone to make copies of anything from the ONE THING conference, so feel free to get a copy of them and to make CD or tape copies for others! Here are some notes about what you'll experience on the CDs (and if you take some time you will find all the worship on these CDs is quite Biblical, often word for word).

Start with ONE THING Volume 1 Worship, the closest to other worship CDs I've heard

1. Lift Me Up Lord (Todd Ganovski)- high energy music to lift you up … near the end listen for the ladies singing quite rapidly, they are repeating something quite important: "I wanna be right where you are - I wanna be right where you are Lord"
2. Blessed be the Name of the Lord (Seth Parks) - God has made it quite clear that His name is to be honored, praised and glorified … and this song spends 21 minutes doing just that
3. Lord of the Dance (Kevin Prosch) - yes, we can dance for the Lord as Worship, and if you haven't so far, this song will encourage it.
4. Ride on the Wheel (Kevin Prosch) - all sounds give glory to the Lord - keep on dancing for the Lord
5. You're my One Thing (Kevin Prosch) - the theme of the One Thing conference was key … and this song let's you sing it out in direct worship
6. Holy is the Lord (Harp & Bowl - Craig Smith) … say it … You alone are worthy Lord! Holy is the Lord who was, who is, and who is to come!
7. O God (Harp & Bowl - Craig Smith)
8. Breathe / Prophecy (Todd Ganovski) - you might want to read some scripture before you worship along with this final track on the CD. Read about the Valley of Dry Bones in Ezekiel beginning at the start of chapter 37. Read about how the bones represent a worn out nation of Israel and how that nation could come to life again - how the world sees dry bones, but how we see an army (see verse 37:10). They see dry bones, we see an army! Other scripture is tied into this track as well.

Move on to ONE THING Volume 2 Worship

1. Jesus (Charlie Hall) … prepare the way of the Lord! (warning: the weird cycling noise you hear near the start actually did occur during the concert - live recordings capture it all)

I Join Myself to You (Seth Parks) … 21 minutes of worship from the heart … impromptu worship … I want you, more than anything, more than everything … Jesus, the one that I run to … You're what I want, You're what I need … Worthy is the Lamb … There is only one found worthy … Try as I may to chase another lover, I find there is no other!
5. Giving You the Highest Praise (Tim Hughes) … put your heart into it - He is Worthy!
6. Holy Visitation (Charlie Hall) … review the NASB translation of Luke 19:44 and 1Peter 2:12
7. I Found Jesus (Tim Hughes)
8. Blessed Be The Name of the Lord (Tim Hughes) … a second presentation of this song that glorifies the name of the Lord

10. Happy Song / Even More Undignified Than This (Tim Hughes) … read the NIV translation of what King David said after an intense song and dance worship session in 2Samuel 6:22

After worshipping nearly two and half hours end with the best … One Thing and The Call

1. One Thing (SJ Hill???) … a reminder of why we are here … the One Thing we desire … Read Psalm 27:4
2. Alleluiah (Derek Box) - sing along with the angels - alleluiah, sing sing alleluiah
3. Ravished My Heart (Todd Ganovski) … this song is mostly representing what God is singing TO us … how he loves and delights in us, that we are lovely even in our weakness … how with just one glance up at Him we can ravish His heart! This is the song of the bridegroom for his bride … of Jesus for us!
4. Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty (Derek Box)
5. Break the Chains (Misty Edwards) … includes the important verse: I want you, more than anything, more than everything
6. Come Lord Jesus (Derek Box)
7. My Heart Burns For You (Todd Ganovski) … I will be a friend of the bridegroom (review scriptures where John the Baptist is just that, see John 3:29)
8. Dance With Me, Lover of my Soul (Todd Ganovski) … the Lord wants to come dancing with you
9. I Am My Beloved's / Lift Me Up Lord (Todd Ganovski) … the three CD set ends the way it began … as it was in the beginning, so it is in the end … "I wanna be right where you are - I wanna be right where you are Lord!!!"
