Prophesying is not just for the Elite - Don't Stop!
(Compare to New Testament at the end of this page)
Numbers 11:26-29 - Do Not Stop Them
However, two men, whose names were Eldad and Medad, had remained in the camp. They were listed among the elders, but did not go out to the Tent. Yet the Spirit also rested on them, and they prophesied in the camp. A young man ran and told Moses, "Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp." Joshua son of Nun, who had been Moses' aide since youth, spoke up and said, "Moses, my lord, stop them!" But Moses replied, "Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the LORD's people were prophets and that the LORD would put his Spirit on them!"

Compare to:

Mark 9:38-40 - Do Not Stop Him! Anyone should be allowed to heal in Christ's name

"Teacher," said John, "we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us."
39"Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40for whoever is not against us is for us.

Beware of the temptation to think of oneself as one of the ELITE - and that others are "less than you" in doing God's work.

Luke 9:51-56 - Call Fire down from Heaven?

As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?" But Jesus turned and rebuked them, and they went to another village.

If you are not welcomed in one place, simply go on to the next ... do not pass judgement on them!

Phil 1:15-18 - Preach for wrong motives is OK in the end - Christ is preached

It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

If it is OK for them to have preached for the wrong motive - then it should help us not to be so nervous ourselves that we'll do it "wrong".
