Live Techno Shows

Wondering if there is someplace nearby where you can listen to DJs spinning Techno Music? Generally, you can either go to a danceclub or go to a rave (we have a new section here in heaven now ... What Is A Rave?). Finding a danceclub is not that hard (look in your local phonebook), but raves can be hard to find - at least at first! Once you find one, you will know where more are because promotional fliers are usually available at each rave for other upcoming raves.

No matter where you are in the world, there is one good place to start your search ... Hyperreal's Rave Culture section. Their MidWest area section now has their own site: MW-RAVES

RaveLinks is a good place to find info about Raves around the world

Hyperreal Rave Index is kind of the grandfather of the Rave Lists - nothing fancy - just the facts - It also has a "grid" view feature!

Raves.com is another site to help you find the parties.

If you'd prefer a database approach, check RaveData.

Midwest Rave Team has quite a bit more than just an event calendar!

The CandyRaver Calendar has a nice Rave Listing.

Jewels Adventures is a very interesting site maintained by a very ambitious girl! And her LINKS page has some really great places on it - nicely categorized too!

SyQuil has an interesting way of listing the parties - just one line where you click on DETAILS to see more about it.

And of course ... if you are in the Madison - Milwaukee area, we maintain the Madison-Milwaukee Event List! Or just next door - Minnesota has their own rave site MNRAVE (and their site is really nice)

CandyKids has a great LINKS page, Rave locator and photo info section (called Candy Kids) on kids from around the USA.

Finally ... Candyland is a really sweet example of a Ravers' site created by Andrea, The Candy Kid, Lil Elmoo or Elmogirlie as the case may be :) --- The Ravers Handbook is good - Raver Aids has a nice Rave Checklist - but especially jump into her HUMOR section and read The Ten+ Commandments of Rave!

If you are an EMail Junkie ... there are many Rave Maillists you can join! Many have 100 or more Emails per day- so you might want to join only the one for your area! HyperReal Maillist List
